This is a fascinating document about some of the folk who lived in Twechar. I find it interesting in there that we see links with Norway, France and the Netherlands!

Twechar also has a path which leads to Bar Hill fort on the Antonine Wall which is interesting to visit along with a stretch of the wall ditches to see.
