There are some fantastic paths along the Canals in Glasgow. You can reach them from the River Kelvin walkway on our West End Wander route. We spotted this sign at the Cleveden Road section about European funding when the Canals were renovated: In Maryhill, at Murano Street there is a historical connection with Venetian Murano Glass, with Murano Street and the history of Glass blowing in Maryhill.
